50TH MEETING OF THE IMPLEMENTATION GROUP FOR THE EUROPEAN INITIATIVE FOR THE EXCHANGE OF YOUNG OFFICERS INSPIRED BY ERASMUS(EMILYO)

Between 23rd - 24th of June 2021, “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy hosted the works of the 50th Conference of the Implementation Group of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Officers Inspired by Erasmus. It was the first residential activity after the pandemic, organized back to back with the 1st Multiplier Event of The International Air Force Semester Project, in which “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy is partner together with the Air Force academies from Greece and Portugal.

On the 24th of June, during the event, a short presentation of the academy was presented, with the participation of students from all undergraduate study programs. At the end of the meeting they rendered the salute to the conference participants.

Also, a detachment consisting of soldiers of the 228th Air Defense Battalion "Piatra Craiului" within the 2nd Brigade Mountain Hunters was also present at the activity, with a ground base OERLIKON 2 X 2x 35 mm air defense system.
