Teaching Mobility Polish Air Force University in Deblin, Poland

During the period of 20–24 April 2026, Col. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Laurian Gherman, PhD, from the Faculty of Air Defence Systems, delivered the Electronic Warfare course as part of the International Air Defence Semester at the Air Force University in Dęblin, Poland.

This experience represented not only an opportunity to share essential knowledge in the field of electronic warfare, but also an occasion to strengthen international relations. Students participating in the International Air Defence Semester had the opportunity to explore current topics such as:

Fundamentals and taxonomy of Electronic Warfare (ES, EA, EP)

Offensive and defensive operations in the electromagnetic spectrum

Asymmetric and hybrid conflicts – the role of EW

Emerging trends: AI, drones, multi-domain operations

The mobility also included bilateral meetings with representatives of the host university, during which new opportunities for academic cooperation and the exchange of best practices in the field were discussed.

Such initiatives contribute to the training of future specialists and to the strengthening of strategic partnerships between higher education institutions with a military profile.
